Ginger
AKA: Ginger bean, Ginger girl, Ginger snap
June 2002 – April 19, 2015
I adopted Ginger from the Boulder Valley Humane Society along with her best friend, Sunshine. They were from different litters, born just days apart, and they were inseparable.
Ginger was the sweetest cat! She had the most amazing purr, graceful spirit and loving personality. When I was home, she was always with me: on my desk while I was working, with me when I was reading or watching TV. If I took a nap, she was there within minutes. I truly believe Ginger chose me. She needed me as much as I needed her. I am so grateful that she choose me!
I am so thankful that I can feel a love and bond so deeply with my pets. Ginger will always, always, always be with us! My sweet, sweet Ginger... We buried her in our backyard, under a maple sapling, surrounded by columbines. I am so grateful that I was able to spend so much time with her the last two weeks of her life.
Our animals are such a huge part of our family. I miss her so much! Our house is so quiet without her…we are all grieving…my heart aches so much. The trust, love and compassion we share with our pets is amazing. Love you so much Ginger!
